Nice little get away

Pros: Our stay here was short but absolutely fantastic! It was far more affordable than the luxury hotels in the area, yet honestly felt even better than any of them. As soon as we opened the front door, we walked into a beautiful open-plan living room and kitchen/diner that felt instantly cosy. The heating was already on when we arrived, which made it feel like a real home away from home. Check-in and check-out instructions were clear and easy to follow. The location was great too—just outside the busy centre, so it was peaceful, but still close enough for an easy walk into town. The apartment had everything we needed. Having our own cooker and oven meant we could make breakfast in the mornings, which was perfect for our little trip. And the bed… wow! We literally sank into it—it was so comfortable that my partner is already looking to buy the same mattress! Thank you for a wonderful stay. We’ll definitely be returning for a longer visit next time!

Lovely

Pros: Location was perfect and flat looked exactly like the pictures. Well equipped and super comfortable bed.

Cons: Pricing arrangements for the third person is not transparent at all ( as has been mentioned frequently on previous reviews). Only when you get through to check out do you realise that if you want more than two people staying in the flat you have to pay a significant amount for bedding. The sofa bed is also not really suitable to sleep on- really thin mattress and so uncomfortable. I think bringing your own sleeping bag not only saves on the additional costs but providesmuch needed padding!!!

One of the Best Stays I’ve had Anywhere!

Pros: The location was just perfect for all of us to explore Edinburgh with ease and comfort. All supermarkets were nearby and open until late. The entire interior, availability of equipments, cleanliness and the comfy and cosy atmosphere. The readiness and access to support was phenomenal whenever we needed any guidance.

Cons: The address containing the house number was unclear. I had to make calls to support to get the proper number of the house. The images of the locker where the keys were located was also not communicated in advance. I had to call to ask for images so I could locate the keys in the darkness of the night. Additionally, the sofa bed was too big and the mattress was not firm. I ended up not using the sofa bed and slept on the sofa (which was also not so comfortable because it was hollow from the centre due to excessive use by guests). We also did not have cleaning supply for cleaning the kitchen counter so we ended up using whatever was available to wipe off the counter after cooking.

Very positive experience, we loved our stay

Pros: Nice clean apartment in an excellent position, on a quiet beautiful street, very close to the center. Plenty of pubs, shops and restaurants nearby. Everything worked well, was easy to find.

Cons: It was a bit too expensive. The apartment was below the street level, although I saw it is normal for this area. Also, in a very strange way, even though I booked for 3 people, I was asked to pay almost 30 pounds for the 3rd person linen. And it happened not at the booking itself, but when I started check in, 2 days before arrival. I travel a lot and it never happened to me. I would recommend the host to remove this request, it makes bad impression. I refused to pay and took my own linen with me, but in the end, I found the 3rd set there.

Great location, nice house, services... but for 2 people. Not a 4 person acco!

Pros: Location was great... lovely street and views. Accessible to Princess Street / shops/ view of the castle. 25 min walk to the Royal mile. Clean and well furnished with amenities. Also staff/ call center people very helpful with immediate resolution/ suggestions.

Cons: The sofa bed was awful. Technically this place should be for 2 people. The bedroom is fine. But Sofa bed, which is supposed to accommodate two people- is sad! Very uncomfortable. Plus the light falls right on your face, so you will be up 4:25am with sunrise! There is no option of covering the top sun window! And even though I was aware and made pre booking for additional linen for the sofa bed, it is still very stupid of offering accommodation for 4 people and giving linen for only two! Just make the pricing transparent and add upfront.

Would definitely come back and stay.

Pros: Great location. Fantastic property. Really well furnished. Comfy bed. Amazing shower. Everything we needed was there. Staff were extremely helpful and kept in touch throughout the trip. Would definitely come back to stay.

Cons: Toilet seat was broken but staff were great and tried their upmost to fix it. When they couldn’t they kept us informed and refunded us some money on our stay.

Pros: Very cosy, looked just like the photos, lovely place to stay and very close to city centre

Perfect location for a five days stay

Pros: It was a great stay in Edinburgh. The place's location is wonderful. All facilities were of a high standard. We were able to walk to almost all the activities we planned. From the Airport, we bought a return family tram ticket. A tram station is no more than a 10-minute walk from the property.

Cons: The sofa bed is not very comfortable, and since we booked for a family, I didn't understand why they charged extra for the sofa bed linens. We paid only because the property was well located. Finally, They could offer travel cots in this location.

Pros: lovely, bed was so comfy, clean, near to where we wanted to be! lovely stay.

Cons: the sofa bed was broken so my 2 boys had to sleep on the airbed which was ok but would of preferred the sofa bed.

Buen alojamiento

Pros: Ubicación tranquila cerca del centro, junto a transporte público, y con muchos supermercados y tiendas cerca. Es muy cómodo. El apartamento es amplio y está completo.

Cons: La cama es muy blanda aunque no es incómoda. Dejaron solo una toalla por persona para 5 días...
