The Plywood Flat

Very cosy & comfortable stay.

Pros: Very cosy flat for upto 4 people. The sofa bed was v comfortable. Kitchen had cutlery, bowls and plates. Plenty of towels, toilet paper, soap in the bathroom. Highly convenient location, very safe and cute locality.

Cons: It would have been useful to have basic products like shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom or kitchen towel/ wipes in the kitchen.

Cosy flat in a Good location

Pros: Good location. Not too far from the Old town. In a quiet street. Nice cosy flat.

Cons: Sofa bed could have been a little more comfortable to sleep on. It was well worn in.

A comfortable place to stay for a reasonable price

Pros: Lovely and clean, comfortable beds and plenty of room

Pros: Location is amazing, we can easily go old city and having facilities such as oven, fridge and tv are great for families.

Cons: Since we have paid 4 person reservation we asked extra bed. However we cannot recieve any bed. Also entrance of the building was scary and windows are so dirty.

Lovely small flat within easy reach of Royal Mile.

Pros: Very nice cosy flat, great location either 20 min walk to royal mile area or a few stops on the bus.

Pros: Thanks so much for setting up a travel cot for our baby. It was perfect for him and meant we didn’t have to bring a cot with us on the train. The apartment was really lovely inside and we loved the decor. The lounge/ kitchen area was really cosy and it was a lovely place to be during the evenings after site seeing. There’s lots of cafes, restaurants and food shops very close to the flat so really convenient. Haymarket rail station and a tram stop are also about ten minutes walk away which was useful for us. We’d definitely stay here again.

Cons: The lock box instruction pdf provided for key pick up is out of date and the picture shows the wrong box/location. There’s a new box above the one in the picture instead. We just phoned to ask and resolved almost immediately so not a problem. Also there was an issue with the internet with the router not working during our stay. We were out exploring Edinburgh in the day, so again not too much of a problem, but couldn’t research things like train times, map routes, etc in the evenings which we would usually do on trips. Just small issues though, as we loved staying here, thanks!

Pros: Bright, attractive interior with lots of creative unique features. Very quiet for sleeping, super comfy bed and nice linens. Good shower, well-equipped kitchen. Great heating.

Cons: Kitchen chairs and living room upholstery could do with some stains removed. The arrival instructions provided weren't right, it was sorted out by phone. The access through the communal area is not well lit.

Pros: Handy to train station and tram line. Nice walk into city centre too. Has everything you need for stay in Edinburgh

Cons: Noise from neighbour's slamming external entry door into early hours of morning . Not owners issue but very annoying

Pros: The location was incredible and it was so functional yet beautifully decorated.

Pros: The sofa bed is really comfy and the room is very clean as well. The location is great and near bus station and tram. Instructions to get to the property is clear as well.
