Warm and welcoming

Pros: Excellent very clean everything there that was needed to relax

Cons: No faults

If heaven was a place on earth it would be Fern Lodge.

Pros: What an absolute gem of a place! Never been in a more peaceful setting. Has everything you need, location is absolutely fantastic. So rustic and homely, could have stayed there forever.

Cons: Got the hot tub going fine but think I added too many logs to begin with as it was roasting hot! Had to wait until the next day to go in - not a fault of the cabin or the owners though.

The Murrays Minimoon

Pros: The log cabin is beautiful and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxed stay. The woodburn fire and hot tub are great features, which really helped us to unwind. I really loved that the decor and interior is authentically a log cabin as so many others we viewed had lost their charm through \

Cosy lodge

Pros: Lovely cosy lodge for my husband's 40th birthday weekend with the kids. We had a lovely walk down to the loch which is very close and there is a small shop 5 mins walk away.

Cons: It would have been good to have the hot tub heated prior to arrival so it could have been enjoyed longer - this is available but at an additional cost! The fire was great but again lots of wood required for both this and hot tub - again available at an additional cost.

Pros: Lovely place and great scenery , cabin was cosy , Did take a long time to heat the hot tub but it was -6 so was understandable . Steve was great coming to defrost a frozen pipe on our 2nd day which we had no water but was quickly fixed. All in all a great stay .

Rustic, authentic, clean, warm, and cosy. Would definitely come back!

Pros: Beautiful setting in the forest next to the loch. Rustic, authentic, clean, warm, and cosy. Everything we needed was provided. Private parking right at the back of the cabin. Lovely cafe 7 minutes walk away, we used this twice during our stay, however all utensils and facilities are available for cooking. Lots of information was provided throughout the cabin to explain how things worked, etc. Phone signal (three) was fine, and WiFi was strong. Cat friendly stay, and this is hard to find! Myself, my partner and my maine coon had a lovely, relaxed stay.

Cons: Heavy rain throughout the weekend made the decking VERY slippery, but that isn't something that can be prevented. There is no gazebo/outdoor shelter and this made it very difficult to use the hot tub as the rain was too heavy, but again, this can't be helped as it's a wood burning hot tub.

Lovely cabin , lovely location

Pros: Everything, lovely large cabin , spotlessly clean and everything supplied you would need for a short break. Location was perfect for us ,very remote and very quiet with the added bones of a wee shop and pub 2 mins walk away.lots of walking trails to explore and of course the beautiful loch Hot tub was great , takes a while to get it up to heat on arrival and stays hot for hours , after that takes just over an hour to heat again , soo relaxing We enjoyed the stay so much we never went a drive anywhere else the whole time We do a lot of short log cabin breaks and this one is up there with the best

Lovely cosy cabin surrounded by trees

Pros: We loved how quiet the location was and being surrounded by trees. We had a Buzzard that would land in the tree righ outside our decking. We loved the cabin very cosy.

Cons: We loved everything about our stay.

Would book again!

Pros: Loved the layout of the cabin. It was cozy and the hot tub was amazing. Great privacy! Would defenetly book again! Kids loved it too!

We had a fantastic time staying in the lodge, peace and quiet, hearing the birds in the morning made it super relaxing.

Pros: Fantastic surroundings, well equipped, homely, an all round amazing place to stay.

Cons: Could have been cleaned better before our arrival, mess under dining table, dust and cobwebs on most window frames.
