A very enjoyable stay in a beautiful quiet location.

Pros: Beautiful, quiet forest location down a private road along the shore of Loch Venachar. Very well equipped and nicely fitted out cottage (with an amazing large antique bath in the main bathroom!). Friendly and helpful hosts. A great base to explore the Trossachs area and we would happily return there.

Pros: Beautiful location. So quiet and relaxed. Fabulous local walks and cycling. Easy access to other parts of the Highlands if wanted. Great host, excellent communication. The accomodationis really beautiful and clean and well maintained.

Fantastic long weekend in a welcoming cottage. If you like rural, loch live with swimming this is 100% the place for you

Pros: Mum loved the log burner, I particularly loved the location, wildlife and sitting on the deck and Sybel, my black lab, loved doing zoomies in the enclosed garden and how close the loch was for me to take her swimming every day. Well equipped, welcoming and Emma is a great host.

Cons: For others be aware of the differing levels across the living areas - just be careful.

lovely comfortable cottage

Pros: how comfortable the cottage felt. loved getting up in the morning, the cottage was still warm from the fire , then having to prepare the fire for later on . some days you didn't have to use the car , as you could just walk and walk , or if you had bikes there are loads of cycle paths.

Cons: it was abit more isolated than I thought.

Lovely stay in a super location.

Pros: Everything you need and next to the loch, our son loved the Summer house den and we had everything on the doorstep. Once we bought food in Callander, there was no need to use the car all week. Walks, paddle boarding, swimming and biking all from the cottage.

Cons: Nothing.

We had a great restful peaceful refreshing fuss free holiday

Pros: Clean practical comfortable quiet private spacious for the 4 of us. Good clear instructions for the heating/ log burner. Everything worked fine and was easy to use. Great safe enclosed area for the dogs. Easy access to the trails and Lochs, walking swimming Kayaking....

Pros: Wat een prachtige cottage, heel sfeervol ingericht. Aan alle kanten kun je naar buiten kijken en wild spotten. Prachtige tuin er ook bij. Is midden in de natuur gelegen. Emma is een hele vriendelijke gastvrouw die snel reageert op vragen. Wij hebben hier met veel plezier met onze kinderen een week verbleven en vele wandelingen gemaakt.
