Pros: Anna and Les were the perfect hosts! Accommodating in every way and so welcoming to their lovely home! The room was set up with extra blankets and we were given lots of helpful tips on where to go for food (including getting take away if wanted!). We were given space to get settled in but they were available when needed. Would highly recommend!

Cons: Nothing at all!

A charming and welcoming place to stay.

Pros: What I liked about Chilowen was the personal touch. Anna and Les made me feel like a welcome guest, rather than a paying lodger. As I was travelling alone, it was very pleasant to have a friendly chat and sit out in the lovely garden with a cup of tea!

Pros: Lovely, cosy and clean family home hosted by the wonderful Anna!!

Cons: It might be slightly out of the way for some, although I didn’t mind as I enjoyed my walk there

Pros: What a wonderful experience!! From the start Anna & Les were very welcoming. They showed me around and to my room, they showed me the facilities and the welcome pack they had prepared for me. My room was spacious, beautifully decorated. The bed (Wow) was SO comfortable and I was lovely and warm through out the night even through the weather was starting to drop cooler (Late September). I was up very early for work and Les, was already downstair baking his bread. The bread in itself is a joy and I had a lovely chat with Les as I had my breakfast. The 2nd morning I had Anna to chat with as I had my breakfast, and I was privileged enough to seen photo's of their many adventures. They will definitely be my 1st call for accommodation the next time I'm staying in that part of the country :)

Cons: I was wholly happy with my stay. Great room, great hosts, great experience.

Pros: Excellent welcome. Easy to park the car. Close to nice walk along the sea. 20 minutes from Edinburgh airport. Clean and confortable. Very good breakfast.
