Beautiful room in a family home

Pros: The owners went the extra mile to ensure that my stay was pleasant. The bedroom had beautiful little touches as well as treats like biscuits, and the bathroom was newly renovated with a gorgeous shower I was made to feel very welcome.

Cons: I cannot think of anything.

Pros: I had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful home! From the moment I arrived, I felt so warmly welcomed. She was truly amazing — so kind, caring, and thoughtful. She made everything feel extra special, like I wasn’t just a guest but someone truly cared for. And the breakfast… oh my goodness! It was absolutely delicious — fresh, homemade, and prepared with so much love. It was the perfect way to start morning. The room itself was just perfect — very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and so cozy. It had such a warm, peaceful atmosphere that it honestly felt like home. Every little detail was taken care of, and you could feel the heart behind it. I left feeling so happy and grateful for the experience. I truly loved my stay and would come back in a heartbeat. It was such a special place, and I’m still smiling just thinking about it! 💛

Pros: This is perfect for solo travellers, especially women. Hosts were lovely, I felt safe and cared for, they even worried if I was warm enough when I set off to Edinburgh. I was able to leave my car there when I got the bus to Edinburgh, bus stop was literally minutes away and journey took about 20 mins right into the heart of the city. The room was lovely, supplied with everything I might need, the bed was so comfortable and their shower! Wow! Rivals any shower i have used in a fancy hotel. Honestly couldn't fault anything

Cons: Nothing, except I could only stay one night

Pros: The hosts were the kindest people. Karen went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. The place really felt like home. The location is very convenient for the buses going to city center as well as Easter bush campus for the university. Could not recommend this place more

Lovely place with stay with a great host. As a single traveler I felt very safe and cosy.

Pros: I loved how comfortable and cosy my room was and it was so quiet. I also loved the beautiful big bathroom and the products provided. Although it’s slightly out of the Old Town there are frequent buses a very short walk away, it’s great value for money.

Pros: Great stay if you are traveling alone, one bus ride from the city center and the host was amazing

Just what I needed to sleep well during a city visit to see my son

Pros: Karen was really welcoming and accommodating to my timings. There was a lot of attention to detail in the room and bathroom, which were spotless. It was a quiet house and area to stay in.

Pros: The property was immaculate, very homely & the hosts were wonderful.

Pros: Karen and John are 2 of the nicest people you will ever meet. From the moment karen opened the door to the moment i left i felt as though i had known them all my life. Karen and John are fabulous host and i cant recommend them enough.

Cons: I didnt like that i had to leave. Lol. On the serious side their was nothing i didnt like.
