Traditional Cottage in West Kilbride Village

Pros: Nice interior , the beds and bedding were luxurious

Quiet, cosy cottage holiday.

Pros: Sun room and garden, weather wasn’t great but we still managed to sit out in the lovely garden. Beds were so comfy and the cottage was cosy.

Cons: Missing comfy seats in the sunroom/ dining room. That would have been a bonus since we sat there most of the time.

Pros: The cottage is really lovely; spotlessly clean and comfortable. This was our second visit and we would definitely book it again. It has everything one would need for an even longer stay than we had. It is so tastefully presented.

Cons: Opening the door caused us a bit of concern as initially we couldn't get the door to open and panic set in. There is a trick to it which we worked out eventually. Maybe include the instructions when the code os sent.

Lovely cottage in West Kilbride which we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

Pros: It was very tastefully decorated and very spacious, lovely and warm with the heating on and was very well equipped . Great wee conservatory / extension in the back with a dining table and it was lovely to eat our meals there looking out to the garden the spacious well kept garden. The beds were very comfortable and had lovely warm duvets on them. There were supplies of tea/ coffee, sugar , salt and pepper which was handy . Dish soap and handwashing soap was also supplied . It was handy to have a co op convenience store a few minutes walk from the house for anything you needed.

Cons: The shower cubicle in the twin room got extremely slippy when wet and both my husband and my mum slipped in it . There was a small rubber non slip type mat that we put in but I feel like it needs something fixed like the adhesive non slip “feet” you can buy that would cover the length of it as a safety precaution . Although the shower looks lovely and is in keeping with the theme of the house the shower head is the large “rain fall” type and cannot be adjusted or lowered and I think just adding an adjustable/ detachable height shower piece would make all the difference . This would be my only gripe , there was plenty of hot water and everything else was great.
