Lagavulin Apartment

A perfect choice for Oban

Pros: Very spacious common area with incredibly comfortable beds, the most comfortable super-king bed I’ve ever slept in. The kitchen was well equipped and it was spotlessly clean throughout the property. The location is great, and the communication with the host was flawless too.

Cons: It is a bit pricy, but still competitively priced compared with other options in Oban.

Pros: Good size and had everything we needed. Excellent location.

Cozy,no view but was fine.very clean.we were 3 ladies and one toilet roll for 2 nights is not enough

Pros: Location was excellent. Flat was beautiful and clean.

Cons: We were right beside the steps going up to the monument, teenagers having parties on the steps.noise thru the night.police buzzing the buzzer at 3am,trying to let someone in, had us all up and awake.

Pros: The cookies are attentive, a wide bed, and a good location.

Cons: 2 bathrooms would be more comfortable for a family of 4.

Amazing 2 night break.

Pros: We stayed here for 2 nights on a family trip. Although the apartment was on the 3rd floor it was amazing and had everything we needed. Entry was very straight forward and the apartment itself was spotlessly clean and very central to the area. We would highly recommend staying there and we'll certainly be back. 3 Adult's and 1 Child.

Cons: Nothing....but the smoke detector is very sensitive, which isn't a bad thing.

Pros: I liked the location, back from the town but close to everything. I liked the layout of the apartment, size of rooms, well equiped kitchen, nice bathroom. Had to phone as had wrong code for key box, phone answered promptly and then had problem with shower head broken, again delt with and changed within a hour, very impressed.

Cons: The fire alarm is a bit sensative in the kitchen, made toast in morning and most probably woke everyone in the surrounding apartments. Bulbs not working in some of the lamps. Maybe need to look at fire alarm for neighbours sake, bulbs a very minor problem.

Amazing

Pros: Apartment was absolutely stunning and so comfy and so clean and fresh . Also shampoo conditioner bodywash excellent shower no complaints everything was perfect.

Cons: Nothing brilliant 3days hope to return later in the summer

This is a brilliant apartment in a great location and will definitely be staying again.

Pros: It was stylish and modern, with good sized bedrooms and living area. The shower was great and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped and the extra bedding was also helpful. We loved the location as it was close enough to the high street without being directly on it.

Cons: The stairs could be an issue for others as it was on the third floor and no lift. This wasn’t a problem for us however. Sometimes it could be a bit noisy if you have the window open at night, as there were some drunken people making a lot of noise by McCaigs tower. Also the floorboards are quite thin so you could hear footsteps and noise from the apartments above at times.

Overall, it was an excellent place to stay.

Pros: The location was excellent. Within a few mi utes, you could be downtown.

Cons: We were on the third floor o the steps got to be a bit much.

We loved our stay in Oban.

Pros: Very clean and contemporary. Comfortable beds and sofas. We’ll equipped kitchen area and lovely shower. Plenty of storage space.

Cons: Up 3 flights of concrete steps with no lift. This was not a problem in general but difficult dragging our suitcases/luggage up to the apartment when we arrived and dragging down when we left. We didn’t remember this being made clear in the details when we booked. We were also concerned because, whilst we had a code for the main entrance, we found that people were leaving the door permanently on the latch (so accessible to anyone).
