Very nice cottage

Pros: Easy to get onto the disused railway line and interesting proximity to the old railway station but still private setting

A place for time to enjoy what’s around.

Pros: The location although in a town was quite remote not serviced by any village stores etc. Good road network in all directions for trips out. Best bit was views from bedroom window of loch and sunrise.

Cons: The garden could have been a bit tidier, not just for guests but neighbours too. Also if you could ask the cottage in front to just trim some of the foliage the view would have been outstanding

A glorious stay in a fantastic property

Pros: A great cottage, in a wonderful location. The conservatory was particularly lovely - a wonderful place to sit and unwind. The property was very comfortable and everything was in excellent condition. Very much appreciated the extremely well equipped kitchen - it makes such a difference to be able to cook with decent utensils and pots and pans. It felt like the owners cared about offering a great experience, and that everything had been through including the addition of maps, a first aid kit, and a very helpful guide to the property and the area. Would definitely love to come here again and would highly recommend View Cottage to others.

Other than the above points the cottage is very cosy, quiet and was ideal for our stay.

Pros: Warm and cosy which was a bonus as we got soaked each day whilst out motorcycling. Plenty of room for drying wet gear.

Cons: The steep approach road on motorcycles was a challenge. The internal stairs were very steep and the only shower available was in the en suite room rather than the general bathroom. An outside PIR light would also be useful by the back door.
