The Aspen 63

Pros: The place is lovely it was meant to be a head down place and we ended up falling in love with the place. We didn't realise the history round there. Beach 10 minutes down the road lovely walks that well be coming back to do :). Really didn't want to come home. Best bit was the little water fall next to the caravan. Hosts are lovely too :) Beds are super comfy I need to know what mattresses they are as I'd love to buy some myself :) WiFi is great just put it in the right spot which is behind the couch on the kitchen top.

Cons: Nothing major but the water kept losing pressure wasn't really that much of a problem to report as we was only there a few days so we managed. Don't let this stop you from coming because the hosts are great and will assist you If you have problems. Will be back again

Pros: Location is OK, but not great. If one likes quiet vacation, it's good.

Cons: Location is a little isolated for me.

Pros: Excellent location. Caravan was clean, comfortable and spacious.

Cons: Oven was difficult to operate. Kitchen sink was missing plug and no basin. Therefore washing dishes was awkward. No fire extinguisher.

We stayed in the Bordeaux after issues with heating in the Aspen. Our stay was brilliant and just what we needed.

Pros: Very quiet location which was great, with perfect walking routes directly next to the site. The caravan we stayed in was excellent.

Cons: We arrived at the Aspen and discovered the heating wasn’t working. The staff were great and had us in a new Caravan in minutes.

Excellent stay in a brilliant property.

Pros: The caravan was clean and comfortable, and the site itself is in a lovely setting. It was quiet and peaceful which is just what we were looking for. We will definitely be back.

Quiet, peaceful & relaxing

Pros: We got the equivalent to an upgrade without paying extra. We come down every year for bonfire night and will definitely be booking the Ardennes next year

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, will be back!!

Pros: We were upgraded to a brand new 3 bed which I think was Ardennes. Had a partial view of the water, lovely view of the waterfall at the side. Had pretty much everything you could want. I was very surprised at how good the central heating was. Had an en-suite toilet and a seperate shower room. It was absolutely spotless. Great base for beach and Dunoon a short drive away. Would recommend and we will definitely come back

Cons: The phone signal was pretty much non-existent so paid for the WiFi. Unfortunately this didn’t really work either. When I handed the box back Hazel said that I should have said and we would have got another box (I personally enjoyed the lack of devices but don’t think rest of family were so happy!) and she actually gave me most of the money back which was a lovely gesture. The only other thing I would add would be a couple of lamps in rooms and maybe an extra telly in the main bedroom would be fantastic but I wouldn’t complain about any of it

Pros: Unfortunately the aspen was unavailable but we were upgraded to another caravan that was new.

Cons: All perfect

Stunning views enjoyed in comfort.

Pros: The location is fantastic, beautiful part of the world. Great accommodation, clean and well kept site. If you need to get away from the rat race look no further. Drink in the natural spring water and the stunning views.

Cons: The only thing I didn't like is leaving, will be going back for sure.

Cosy, comfortable and beautiful surroundings

Pros: Very cosy and warm in caravan, good location next to Loch Long so beautiful scenery and peaceful quiet surroundings. Great for a base to visit other areas- did the job. Great communication from Hazel to reach location. Staff (Greg) was very helpful getting us settled and with tips and history of the area. Many thanks for a lovely stay.
