Cozy and charming cottage in Crieff

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay at Ivy Cottage in Crieff! It’s just a short walk from the centre of Crieff and makes a perfect base to explore the Highlands. We felt completely at home, the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking a hearty meal after a day’s exploring, and the comfort and warmth of the place were just right.

Welcoming and peaceful stay.

Pros: Comfortable, homely, restful. The photographs on site are true. A very old cottage with mid cons.

Cons: Teeny upstairs toilet. Spacious bathroom down stairs.

One of the best cottages I’ve stayed in, a true home from home.

Pros: Everything, the perfect home from home for me and my dog. The landlady has thought of everything to make your stay a comfortable and enjoyable one.

Cons: Can’t think of anything!

Excellent cottage and town.

Pros: The owner was very helpful, showing us round and texting during the week to make sure everything was okay. She also advised us on places to visit. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed for cooking. The cottage is dog friendly. The garden is lovely. Crieff is lovely.

Cons: The settee is awkward if you want to watch TV. The chair in the sitting room was uncomfortable, but we swapped it with the chair from the sun room and solved the problem. Access to the drive from the lane is very tight, and we drive a Mondeo. A larger car would have real difficulty.

Quaint, cosy, relaxing cottage, in a good location for touring the area.

Pros: The cottage provided a very relaxing stay, in an ideal position for touring the area. Had all the facilities needed. Bed super comfy, conservatory so relaxing. Garden beautiful and, although not 100% secure for dog to wander, there was a lovely quiet lane with deer and other wildlife straight out of the gate where we could easily exercise him. Also MacRosty Park nearby was perfect for longer walks.
