Wonderful relaxing stay in cosy cottage within a stunning location.

Pros: We loved the location, brilliant views and great for walking. Our dogs loved it too. The hosts were great and very welcoming. We also loved the fresh fish delivery, best mussels ever! We will be back!!

Pros: Fabulous gem of a place. Very individual. Well styled. Divinely comfy super king bed with loch views. Extremely peaceful location.

A perfect getaway and stunning location if you seek peace and quiet.

Pros: Stunning location, amazing views and walks, total peace and quiet. Loads to do and see nearby. Hosts are always on hand if needed. Friendly and welcoming neighbours too. A cosy cottage with everything you need. Plenty of info provided about the local area by the hosts - which was very helpful.

Cons: The only negative for us was that the closest pub is a little too far to walk. Although taxis are available.

Pros: - views over the loch - cool decor - location - well equipped - quirky design

Cons: - lack of central heating, made for some cold mornings - sometimes a little impractical, eg microwave quite high and the blind not properly working but easily fixed

Peaceful, cosy getaway.

Pros: Very cosy. Gorgeous views over the lakes. Well equipped. Lovely bedroom. Welcome lemon cake. Quiet location. Totally unspoiled.

Cons: Downstairs bathroom a little chilly and shower cubicle quite small. Staircase was a challenge, very shallow metal steps and rope at top rather than a banister. Would possibly be unsuitable for less able. Dog tolerant rather than dog friendly - nothing provided at all, limited to rooms dogs can go into and extra dog charge very steep (added an extra 10% onto holiday costs) Very remote (can be a positive) so car needed to go anywhere.

Wonderful cottage in a a great location

Pros: So enjoyed our stay at the Moorings for Xmas. The cottage was very well appointed and comfortable. We appreciated the responsiveness of the host and the Xmas decorations. We are from Australia, but found the cottage very warm for Xmas. The location was wonderful and we had a fantastic stay.

Excellent property

Pros: From start to finish very relaxing. Spent a cosy couple days with hubby Fishing (11 dog sharks in one day and about 120 crabs in 2 hours. Very impressed lol) beautiful location and dog was in her element. Well equipped property.

Cons: Few updates needed but doesn't effect stay at all. Larger shower would be an improvement

Tranquil cosy comfortable home from home

Pros: Beautifully set on the loch side,hence fantastic views. Utterly comfortable and cosy with the best bed I’ve slept on away from home! Lots of lovely dining options even out of season locally but the kitchen is well equipped for dinning in too. Great information pack and helpful hosts nearby. The welcome treats were an absolute bonus 😀
