The Smiddy House

Pros: Close to lots of amenities and central to the places which we wanted to visit.

Our lovely stay at The Smiddy House.

Pros: Lovely, bright rooms. Very comfortable beds. Everywhere was very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the goodies that were left for us. We will definitely be back.

Cons: There wasn't anything to dislike.

Lovely modern cottage style accommodation. Perfect base for playing golf in the area.

Pros: Host provided milk, fresh eggs, local cake and bottle of fizz which was greatly appreciated. Good instruction folder there too.

Cons: We just missed having a local pub that we could walk back from. Eating and drinking places were a short drive away.

Pros: Totally stunning , absolutely everything you need , bespoke , log burner masses amount of room , probably one of Ye very best we’ve stayed

Cons: Honestly ? Absolutely nothing we didn’t like

Pros: The access to the property was very good. All was clean, tidy and very spacious. Well equipped kitchen.

Pros: What can I say, such a beautiful property,great welcome from the host,lemon drizzle cake, and processo with lovely fresh farm eggs. Absolutely everything you need on hand such a peaceful area,but not far from local shops. We had a great time here, and each day coming back from our travels felt so relaxing. Would definitely be back. It's just a shame we didn't book a week x We came to do the Coo trail, and the smiddy was a great base to get us started. Thank you so much for the welcome note that was so kind.

Cons: There's not much to say, really,just the sofas could do with a grip underneath.

Excellent base to explore Scotland.

Pros: Accommodation was very well equipped, very clean, and provided an excellent base from which to explore Scotland. The host provided very good and clear information on the surrounding ammenities and recommendations on where to eat and get provisions. We would highly recommend this accommodation and would definitely stay again!
