Such a relaxing stay . Wonderful

Pros: The location was wonderful and peaceful . The cottage was beautiful and super cosy and had everything you could need . Alastair was a wonderful host

Cons: The wooden bed was noisy and mattress to thin for my heavy self lol

Really enjoyable week in a beautiful cottage, which provided exactly what we wanted from the trip !

Pros: Impossible to fault this lovely cottage. Great location with Loch Long (and stunning views) immediately in front and plenty of stunning forest/beach walks immediately behind/alongside. All rooms are cozy and comfortable, with every amenity you could possibly need to hand. The owner was extremely helpful with excellent communications beforehand, and also helped out with the shipping of some clothes we accidentally left behind :( The Ardentinny Hotel (2 minutes walk) was extremely friendly with welcoming staff and excellent food, as was the Blairmore cafe a few minutes drive down the road (Do check opening hours of both during off season). Highly recommended property.

Cons: Nothing to do with the property, but quite a lot of restaurants/cafes in the area were closed, or on reduced days/hours, during the off-season. Not a deal breaker because there are always options to be found, but it just takes a little bit of effort to check the opening hours of some places in advance.

Pros: Beautiful cottage in tranquil location. Felt connected to nature at every step. Breath taking sea view from the cottage and forest just behind it.
