Pros: Lovely location and spacious self-contained accommodation with sufficient privacy. Beautiful place to explore the area, go for hikes or a swim.

Beautiful scenery to wake up to every morning, a lovely location with lots of walks and day trips.

Pros: The location is superb, surrounded by beautiful countryside with a view of Lock Etive, about 5 minutes walk to the shore. The lodge was immaculately clean and very well kitted out. Many lovely walks right from the door, including into Taynuilt which has some good basic shops.

Cons: We were a family of three adults. Four adults would have been a bit of a push, the twin bedroom is very small with small beds. On a very minor note, two oven shelves (rather than one) would be helpful! Didn't bother us as our friends were staying next door and we cooked together.

Pros: The setting was wonderful as was the facilities and the owners

Cons: Only thing which is not the owners fault was the midges in the evening and because it was a bit of a heatwave when we stayed the accomodation got uncomfortably warm at times

Lovely spot, and great midge free weather.

Pros: Comfortable, quiet, clean, good facilities, fast WiFi, and great views. Better than the photos! Enjoyed a BBQ and eating out at the Oyster Inn 10 mins drive away.

Cons: More of a smart caravan than a chalet but what we expected for the price.

Gemütliche Hütte in toller Landschaft

Pros: Sehr gemütliche Hütte in ruhiger Lage mit tollem Blick auf Wasser und Berge. Sehr nette Gastgeberin und in der Hütte war alles was man zum Selbstverpflegen braucht.

Cons: Für Leute mit Angst vor Spinnen wäre die Hütte nichts.. an der Außenwand gibt es zahlreiche Spinnennetze und Spinnen, aber so ist das eben in der Natur :)
