Oban Seil Farm

If you want to enjoy peace in the wonderful scenery of Seil Island, this is the place for you!

Pros: Look no further for a quiet, peaceful holiday in a very comfortable house surrounded by stunning landscapes - Oban Seil Farm is it! We stayed here for one week (unfortunately only that), and found it easy to unwind from our stressful day to day life. Bette and Nick welcomed us with a lovely goodie basket and were wonderful and helpful hosts throughout! Not to forget Ronja the dog who gratefully received daily cuddles from us. Seil Island is small but beautiful, with lots of wildlife and beautiful views all around. Oban with shopping and dining opportunities a plenty is only 20 Minute away. We had a truly wonderful stay and hope to come back one day!

Cons: No negatives to be found here! We didn't even care about the bad internet, actually quite the opposite. To plan our daily trips we sat outside in the yard with good reception. In the evenings we helped ourselves to the well sorted bookshelf or played games instead of being on our smartphones.

Fabulous

Pros: Wonderful position, warm and welcoming - both the property, and proprietors. Plenty of room, and great views, and walks.

Cons: A very minor comment- but it's nice, even with self-catering, to have one or two basics there upon arrival (salt, pepper, tea, coffee).

Pros: We absolutely LOVED our stay. Such a fantastic location and really lovely and friendly hosts. We will definitely book again!

Magical, peaceful and a real escape from busy life.

Pros: The private pontoon complete with BBQ and fire pit a short walk down the hill was magical. The grounds were lovely and the view over the Isle of Mull from the top of the hill was spectacular.

Cons: We had teenage kids so WiFi would have helped but it was actually quite nice that they couldn’t use it. Netflix worked so they were pretty happy. A gate on our little garden would have been nice for the dogs as we didn’t want them running after the chickens or sheep.

Pros: Fantastic hosts, made our stay so pleasant and clearly care about their guests with little gestures inside the property. Very accommodating to our larger family!

Pros: Very comfortable and homely cottage that was well equipped. Friendly hosts and a beautiful private shore and sea views.

Pros: Beautiful island. Stunning view 😍 Other Islands just minutes away with their unique history. Oban wasn't too far either. The house was perfect for our family of 4, clean and cosy, washing machine and dishwasher was a big plus. Bette and Nick were the perfect hosts. They were always there if we needed anything. I greatly appreciate that we have been given the opportunity to feed the lambs. They were so sweet and cute, most wonderful creatures 🐑🤗

Pros: Lovely, welcoming hosts, a stunning location, private coast area with pontoon, perfect for swimming or launching kayaks and paddleboards. Access to the small hill behind the property for exceptional views.
