A wee hidden gem

Pros: Good location, just 7 miles from Fort William and on a direct bus route. Chalets are tucked away out of sight and are very well equipped. Bed was extremely comfortable though the bedroom is very small. Shower room looked newly refurbished and all areas were clean . There's good Internet access in the chalet. Towels and tea towels provided and coffee, tea, sugar etc provided to get you started. Chalet was advertised as a one bedroom but there were actually 2 extra bedrooms up a steep stair. Excellent use of a small space. The restaurant and pub on site (separate business) are first class and cater for gluten/dairy free without issue.

Cons: The seating in the living area is not very comfortable especially when we wanted to relax after doing a lot of walking. Bench seats around a table and 2 very low chairs Gardens in need of some upkeep. I know it's October but we couldn't make best use of the beautiful mountain and loch views as the hedges are too high .

Pros: Beautiful views from the upstairs window. The shower worked well. The beds were comfortable.

Cons: Clean, but a stong moldy smell in the entry way. The hot water heater switch for the kitchen hot water is upstairs in one of the bedrooms. It was hard to guess how to turn it on, no instructions.
