Blackwater Glamping Pods

Lovely stay!

Pros: From check in the staff were incredible, talking to my little girls who were going to fort william the next morning for a dance competition. The pod itself was reasonable sized, its not huge but we had a double bed 2 singles and a small fridge microwave kettle and tv. Perfect place to rest our heads. Pod and bathrooms were spotless. Beds were comfortable. We brought our own sleeping bags so didnt have experiance hiring them. The pod was surprisingly warm overnight even without heater use. Bathrooms were seperate to the pods but only a couple seconds walk, there was a communal area for water and washing area for utensils ect. There is a drying area for wet outdoor clothes, the pods have little benches with areas for small bbqs on them which are a great touch. Location wise they are minutes from a coop, pub, and a wee chinese takeaway called rice and chips which is lovely! Will 100% be back to stay!

Perfect accommodation for hiking in Glencoe area

Pros: We got all the necessary information before arriving, the pod was clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful. The location is quiet and perfect for recovering after hiking all day.

Pros: Location was great with good local amenities. The lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful. Absolutely loved the pod. It's a wee bit posher then camping. The heater was amazing which I used to dry some of my stuff. By the end of it I felt like I'd had a sauna 😂. The lady washed and dried my clothes for £10 which was much appreciated and I borrowed a sleeping bag for £5 which is great if you don't want to carry one. This was my favourite accommodation along the west highland way. I preferred to hotels, hostels etc. Top notch and look forward to staying again

Great!

Pros: Cute camping experience in the barrel! In the communal areas you can do some cooking, or if you dont feel like it you can also heat up a premade meal in the microwave inside the room.

Lovely place!

Pros: Was a lovely place, staff friendly and great location. Showers/toilets etc where clean and rooms where perfect for a place to sleep.

Cons: Nothing wrong with the place itself, just a shame there was a power cut that didnt just effect this place, there was no lights, heating, phone signal! Luckily the showers still worked though and water was still hot :) , nothing the staff could have done though and other than that its the perfect place to stay and we will return without doubt. :)

Great budget friendly option, quiet and great parking!

Pros: Great facilities, would have voted higher if it was cleaner.

Cons: Very cold bedding supplied and showers due for a good mold treatment.

Pros: Great views and location in a quiet village not too far away from supermarket and restaurants.

Cons: The memory foam bed did not agree with me and a duvet option would of been preferable instead of a sleeping blanket.

Just what was needed

Pros: The place was exactly what they said it would be and that was exactly what I wanted. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Ideal for one night, cosy and comfortable

Pros: Never stayed in anything like this before and was slightly anxious, neednt have worried, it was ideal for a night before a run the next day leaving from Kinlochleven. We took our own bedding and towels, also cutlery and mugs . Warmer than I expected, only issue was the blind didnt cover the whole window in the door which wasnt great for privacy or light. Some hooks would be good to hang up stuff. We had our car so were able to put what we werent using in the car as there is not much room at all, glad we didnt bring our collie as she would have no where to lay comfortably but the girls on reception had said as much. Id def use again for one night - cost higher for what it is but to be expected as on the WHW. Showers were hot, and ideal

Cons: Needs hooks or something for hanging coats/etc or your towel after showering

Pros: absolutly fun stay staff were nice and the pod was what is shown
