Excellent in every respect

Pros: Everything perfect from arriving to leaving. Our hosts were welcoming, extremely helpful and went above and beyond everything. Room was brilliant with lots of goodies provided. Couldn't have asked for more and will definitely stay again .

Pros: The hosts were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Their house(or castle) is immaculate, and the location is fantastic. We couldn't recommend this accommodation highly enough. The choice of breakfast is fantastic as well. Full Scottish breakfast made to order and guaranteed to fill you up. The best B&B we've ever stayed in, and we look forward to returning to visit more of the surrounding areas. 10/10

Langhouse Castle ... wow!!!

Pros: Setting was excellent. Arrived in the dark, but our host was there to greet us. Beautifully set out room with a double aspect view, comfortable and very large bed, and breakfeast (deliberate mis-spelling) that was obviously designed to feed us for the day. Can't praise this place enough and even had horses in the field with four deer on occasions too!! Highly recommended.

Cons: Arriving in the dark means a short distance on a single track road. Not a problem and lit but possibly could be advised in advance. Worth this minor inconvenience for an excellent location and stay in what is to all intents and purposes, a Scottish castle.

Langhouse Castle relax with a view

Pros: A lovely historical building, very hospitable owners & location to relax in. The interiors by contrast were modern, clean and very relaxing. The breakfast was extensive & excellent. The Marina across the main road is a pleasant walk.

Cons: The local town is pleasant but has limited facilities. A drive or possibly train to nearby towns is necessary for any greater shopping or facilities, but that is probably not why you would stay in this peaceful location.
