Pros: Lovely clean, quiet, comfortable apartment. Easy access into Edinburgh by train. Julie is a great host.

Such a lovely place to stay, a wee home away from home

Pros: Lovely apartment - exceptionally clean, comfortable and well kitted out. In a nice quiet area. Great communication from very helpful owner. Super easy to check in with keys waiting in a lock box. Lovely welcome basket waiting for us on arrival along with a bowl of water and a packet of fancy treats for our dog! Fully equipped kitchen, comfy bed, lots of towels, good shower. Lovely toiletries. Linens & towels smelled lovely too. Travel cot and highchair were set up ready for our arrival too. Lots of free parking right outside. Plenty supermarkets etc nearby. Such a lovely place to stay 😊

Cons: Hard to think of any negatives. Had a wee issue with getting the TV in the bedroom to work but the owner responded quickly to try and help us with it. Shower head might be a bit low for tall folks.

Pros: Quiet location, close to the coastal path. Host was really helpful and responsive even offering to wash a load for us when we let her know the washing machine appeared to be broken.

Excellent weekend away perfect location

Pros: Just perfect for our weekend away . Upon arrival found dog treats and bowl of water for our dog that was much appreciated. Hamper was a lovely touch . Situated in a perfect spot to explore. Lovely walk along the costal path. I cannot find any faults for this property. Even used the hot water bottles left for us 😊

Absolutely perfect, we’d return in a heartbeat.

Pros: We were welcomed by a beautiful basket waiting for us in the kitchen — such a thoughtful touch. The flat was spotless and had a wonderfully fresh scent when we arrived. We also really appreciated the motion sensor lights, especially for moving around at night without needing to switch on brighter lights. The location was perfect for our family, as we preferred to be slightly outside the busy centre of Edinburgh. The host was fantastic from start to finish, and we would definitely choose to stay here again.

Cons: We couldn’t fault a single thing, everything exceeded our expectations.

Pleasantly decorated nice appartment close to the coast.

Pros: Nice, quiet location. Cleanliness. Good comfortables beds. Generous spaces, easy parking. We were wondering what if we could spend a longe time here. I loved the hunter-fisher decor. A few hundred meters to the coast from where you have great view on bridges and the bay towards Edinburg.

Cons: Nothing serious at this price. The batroom is quite good, and the shower is fine, but the lavabo is small and fairly highly located, and there is no mirror directly there for instance for shaving. I did not have to shave, but even if I did, I would not subtract points for such minor things. Overall really fine place!

Pros: Our stay at this beautiful boutique apartment in Edinburgh was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we could tell how much thought and care had gone into making the space both stylish and comfortable. The apartment was exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything we could possibly need, there really wasn’t a single thing missing. The rooms were bright and spacious, and the charming sailor-themed décor added such a unique touch and it truly felt like the cherry on top! The location was also fantastic, especially being so close to the coast. We managed to go for a refreshing walk along the seaside, which was an absolute delight and a great way to soak in the local atmosphere. The linens were crisp, fresh, and smelled lovely, making the whole stay feel very luxurious. The host was also kind and responsive, which made the experience even smoother.

Cons: If we had to mention anything at all for future improvement, it would be two very minor points — the Wi-Fi connection was a bit unreliable during our stay, but the host promptly explained that there were temporary network issues in the area, so we simply used mobile data instead. The wash basin could also benefit from a slightly better drain and perhaps a mirror above it, which would be a nice touch.

Exceptional apartment

Pros: Exceptionally well appointed apartment, everything we could possibly have needed. Clean, comfortable and convenient for the city and local restaurants and shops. The welcome hamper was a real bonus.

Outstanding apartment

Pros: The property was 10/10. From arrival the host, Julie, was helpful on arrival. We arrived to a sparkling apartment along with super treats, biscuits, popcorn, , breakfast items, water & even chocolates, flowers & a fresh smell of linen, could still smell this 2 days later. Everything you require, literally home from home. Cosy and clean, spotless in fact. Location - perfect for us. Nice walk to train station 20 mins, very easy commute into the centre of Edinburgh. Great shower, quality toiletries provided. Soft bath towels and plenty of them. Highly recommend this stay, the area is pretty and safe, the bay is lovely and a great view of the bridge. All in all a perfect end to our NC500 trip. Thank you Julie you really deserve outstanding reviews for your gem of a place .
