Nelson Seaside Apartment

Ideal for someone who has limited/short mobility, location is great.

Pros: The best think about the property is it location so near to all amenities. As a disabled single traveler I try to find properties that allow me to still independently get around.

Cons: Not very good soundproofing from above. And the back door to the bin jams very tight and has to be slammed hard to shut, the noisy guy above that was there my first night slamming it at 5am .And the lock box was not easy to open, it meant standing for over 5 minutes in the wind and rain getting in and 15 minutes again in the cold trying to open it to replace the key when leaving.

Pros: Location was excellent, ideal for a walk and close to everything.

Largs on a sunny day. What could be better.

Pros: The location, the facilities, both the check in and check out. The comms were excellent.

Cons: Nothing. All good.

Pros: The location was excellent for the town centre, restaurants and bars. It was minutes from the sea front. The flat was quiet, clean, safe and well appointed. The kitchen had everything you needed for cooking. The separate washer and drier were a good feature and a clothes airer was available ,for outside use if preferred. Plenty of storage for clothes during the stay. The outside space was excellent for morning coffee. Umbrellas were provided against our rainy West Coast weather!

Cons: We liked the flat very well. I would suggest power cleaning the courtyard as it was a little unloved, but...that's a small comment. It's a ground floor flat in an old building and I found the bedroom cold...tho the heating system was good, the bed was a little cold. A bed on legs rather than a divan sitting on the floor might solve that?

Our stay at Nelson Apartment was fantastic, we all had a ball, it was like home from home,!

Pros: Nelson apartment for us was brilliant! From accessing keys on arrival, to location, to comfirtness, to layout of property, to appliances available to use, to location, to outside area for us and especially wee Daisy, honestly everything was superb.

Cons: Only thing that we were so disappointed about was on arrival there was only 2 sets of towels sitting out for us to use, bearing in mind I booked for 3 adults! We looked all over the apartment but unfortunately couldn't find any more towels or bedding for that matter, my husband was using fold down bed in living area and duvet had no duvet cover on it!!!. We lucky enough packed a few towels just in the off chance this would happen and because we had wee Daisy (our wee dog) with us and had thought if she had gone into the sea/water we would need a towel to try her and didn't want to use one of the apartment ones! So luckily we had some that we could use. We used the towels to get washed in the morning and due to having both washing machine and tumble drier available we could wash the towels and have them ready for next morning,! This turned out ok as, as I said having own towels and kitchen appliances were a life safer but if we didn't have them goodness knows what we would have done! It wasn't until we were home and my mum's friend who recommended apartment to us asked how we got on that my mum explained about towels and bedding that my mum's friends told her that you had to lift the bed up and underneath there is loads & loads of towels and bedding,! As I said earlier we had looked everywhere but not once did we think about lifting the bed up! There was nothing to state that we should do this and think it would be a good idea to have this added to the information in the property about the fold down bed etc. Only other thing was the shower and outside tiles are really heavily soiled or mould at and this waste the bathroom as it's a lovely bathroom!

Pros: Handy for shops resturants and sea front ferry to millport excellent location kitchen very well equipped full size cooker oven fridge freezer microwave felt right at home

Cons: Sofa uncomfortable bearable to sit and watch tv but very uncomfortable to sleep on double bed very comfortable everything else perfect home from home

Perfect break away

Pros: The place was perfect. Ground floor, close to sea front, parking not a problem and free. Everything was there that was needed.

Cons: Only confusion was multiple bins for rubbish. But got a hang of it

Pros: lovely clean flat and very modern lovely comfy bed everything we needed, close to all shops and places to eat.

Pros: Superb location, extremely well equipped and very clean

Pros: We had a little confusion about bed linen for the sofa bed. The poprietor came in person to sort that out. I was impressed. Very very professional and very understanding. Keep it up Pillow partners
