Lovely location, value for money.

Pros: Great location , lovely and warm, comfortable space.

Cons: Heating didn’t work in both bathrooms, toilet flushing in en-suite quite noisy, guttering outside kitchen door needs fixing.

Overall we are very satisfied.

Pros: I really liked the location near the mountains, the view is incredibly beautiful. The house was warm and comfortable.

Cons: The internet was a bit slow, which was inconvenient for us. There was also a shortage of utensils, especially large saucepans.

A quiet, spacious property excellent for exploring the highlands

Pros: The location was wonderful, short walk into Killin which had a few shops, Loch Tay was walking distance away. Stunning views of the mountains but sadly didn’t see any deer. The property was spacious and was able accommodate our needs well. The heating was also very good and plenty of hot water. The beds were very comfy. Plenty of storage.

Cons: Little improvements / maintenance would have made the stay excellent… Doors do not shutting properly inside. Hot tap in the bath didn’t work properly only allowed a dribble of water out. Some middle sized plates would be good. Extraction fan switch for en-suite doesn’t work.

We enjoyed a comfortable stay in a well equipped chalet in a beautiful location.

Pros: The chalet was spacious, well furnished and comfortable. The weather was fairly cool during our stay but the heating was up to the challenge and kept us cosy and warm. The view from the chalet down Glen Lochay to the Grampians was wonderful - particularly at dawn when the sun hit the mountains turning them gold.

Cons: One improvement that would be of great benefit would be the addition of dishes that can be used in the oven. The kitchen was in general well equipped but lacking oven ware.

Superb!

Pros: Fantastic! We were in the separate small house out the back. Great facilities. Full kitchen. Loads of space. Firepit was excellent. Stream running passed was very atmospheric. Lots of birds. A beautiful part of the world. Excellent views of sky and hillsides. Peaceful.

Cons: The only thing would be the lack of laundry facilities, but this is only a very minor inconvenience if you plan. But maybe people would stay longer with laundry - we certainly would have. It was one of the very best places we stayed during our 7 week trip.

Great stay!

Pros: The location is perfect and the host were very responsive. The accommodation was very clean, tidy and well organised. All the facilities were in great shape. The views of the mountain and the sounds from the river nearby are just perfect.

Cons: could be slightly cheaper, but it is good value for money.

Highly recommended.

Pros: Comfortable, clean and a lovely setting. Great location for walking and cycling.

Lichtspiele in den Bergen

Pros: Die Landschaft ist wirklich bezaubernd und die Berge sehen immer wieder ganz anders aus, je nach Licht, Wolken und Nebel. Wir haben eine schöne Woche hier verbracht und es war möglich, gleich beim Haus zu starten zu drei verschiedenen Wanderungen. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und wir haben nichts vermisst.

Cons: Das Elektrizitätswerk nahe beim Haus. Nachdem alle den herrlichen Blick gelobt haben, war ich sehr überrascht davon, dass dort mitten im Blickfeld dieses Umspannwerk ist. Das hat mich am ersten Tag irritiert. Aber dann hab ich mich dran gewöhnt und es gar nicht mehr gesehen. Trotzdem sollte man das vorher wissen, finde ich. Der Blick wsr trotzdem toll. Auf den Fotos sieht man den Blick aus dem Esszimmerfenster und Loch Tay.
