Unique Victorian Home in Glasgow

Great flat, good location, slept like a baby.

Pros: Easy to find and easy to get into. The flat was really warm on arrival, which was super welcome on a cold night. We slept really well in the bed. The flat was very nicely furnished with interesting details, lovely high ceiling in living room and was very clean. Great location near our evening outing to Oran Mor.

Cons: I was asked to connect via a link to another site to read their house rules / check in and then to give my card details for a sizeable deposit. I was also contacted via WhatsApp by someone who said she worked for AirUs and she asked me to do this as well. There was no indication on booking.com that I'd be contacted outside the app and she gave no proof that was who she said she was. This is exactly what newspaper articles are warning the public not to do as scammers use this to get your card details. I managed to do this on the train there and then, when I suddenly had the thought that I'd given my bank card details to a site I couldn't verify and had been contacted by a stranger on WhatsApp, I couldn't verify if this was a scam or not as internet was so patchy on the train. I had a very stressful couple of hours and it wasn't until I was at the door of the flat and accessed the lock box that I found that the booking was, in fact, valid. There needs to be a way to do this within booking.com so that we do not have to leave the platform if a deposit is required. The flat was great, but this part of the experience was really stressful and I would hesitate to book with an AirUs property again because it was a very anxious way to start a weekend away.

Beautiful, comfortable flat in an awesome location

Pros: Location very good to west end area Shower and bath were amazing Plenty of kitchen facilities Comfy sofa; games and dvds to use Easy entry

Cons: Unnecessary extra payment for 2 people as opposed to 1 for staying in the exact same apartment. Added further costs £20 for using the sofa bed (as opposed to sharing the bedroom), however the bedding was piled loosely in the cupboard. Not sure what the cost was for hit it was even fresh from the cleaners or bed made up for this crazy extra cost…

The owners of the property are very kind and helpful, was a delight to meet them in person.

Pros: The apartment is in a short walking distance to the main campus of the University of Glasgow in a quiet and beautiful residential neighborhood. Also minutes of walk to the main street with access to shopping, food services, etc.

Cons: Street rekonstruction (closure) nearby and some home improvements in the immediate vicinity. However, that means that improvements are coming.

Perfect for a few day stay in the city

Pros: Great location in the west end, responsive staff, easy check in

Pros: The apartment was clean and tidy with a great location.

Cons: Price was a bit to high but just my luck with the golf being on. Check out time 10.am is a bit to early.

Very pleasant apartment, ideally located for access to Glasgow University, but parking was not easy.

Pros: The location was great as we were visiting Glasgow University.

Cons: Parking was not easy, but parking is always difficult in locations like this.

Pros: Location great. Nice and quiet and within a couple of minutes walk of the subway

Cons: Not a reflection of the listing itself but Glasgow is short of overnight parking, however, there is a nearby car park (10 minute walk at most) at Lilybank as long as you pay via Ringo and remember to renew parking at 8am the following morning.

I loved this flat.had everything we needed and was so cute. Lovely area

Pros: The decor and amenities were perfect! Bed was comfy. Very quiet but central location to restaurants and groceries.

Cons: The key to get in was temperamental. Did not detract from stay in any way.
