Bright 2 Bedroom Apartment - Edinburgh

Nice apartment

Pros: Excellent apartment in a quiet neighborhood. There’s a supermarket, a pub, and a coffee shop nearby. A bus stop with the number 29 bus to the city center is just around the corner. It’s very, very quiet. The beds are fantastically comfortable — we slept like babies. There were enough heaters in the apartment, so we were nice and warm. The apartment is spacious, and we felt cozy and comfortable. There were a few minor drawbacks, but nothing that significantly affected our stay. We really liked the apartment and would gladly recommend it to other travelers.

Cons: For some reason, there was a dirty used sponge in the kitchen for washing dishes, but we found a spare one in the cupboard. There was also only one teaspoon. We had a bit of trouble figuring out the switches — we even had to contact the manager because the hot water in the shower was turned on in a not-so-obvious place. However, we received a quick response, so it didn’t affect our stay. The only downside was communication with the manager before our arrival. He didn’t respond to our questions — neither on the website nor on WhatsApp. The only reply we got was about the security deposit; all other messages went unanswered. At least we received the welcome guide a day before our arrival, which was helpful.

Pros: Ok location, easy uber to town. Beds were comfy. Shower was good. Could stay for several days and be fine. Coffee available for guests.

Cons: Looking a little tired in places. No instructions for the storage heaters (that we could easily find). Odd lack of teaspoons.

Worth booking

Pros: It’s very nice property and owner is also good. Very helpful for everything. Highly recommended for tourists who are coming to visit Edinburgh.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at this property. Perfect family apartment.

Pros: The apartment was ideal for our purpose. It was clean and well equipped. Very good value for money. Host was lovely. Would stay again. Well connected for city centre (bus) and for travelling outside of Edinburgh (by car).

Cons: The location is pretty far from town centre. This didn't impact us too much as we rented a car and spent most of our time out of the city. The bus service is good and regular, about a 30min bus ride to town centre.

Pros: Beautiful place to stay. It's a home away from home.

Cons: Noise from the up floor

Exceptional stay in a flat with hotel quality cleanliness and comfort.

Pros: Host was very responsive, flat was great had a hotel setup with great decor and had dishes available to use. Great mix of a hotel and Air B&B mashed in one. I would definitely recommend and plan to stay at the same place if I go back.

Cons: Nothing, all was great. I did get confused on how to get into the complex after hours I didn’t know there was a magnetic option but the host answered his phone after I tried to find a way into the facility.

It was perfect for a place to stay when we were visiting Edinburgh.

Pros: We appreciated the bathroom because there was a lot of space. We had enough towel during the stay. The appartement was clean.

Pros: Flat was everything you need but the neighbours upstairs made more noise than a herd of elephants!

Cons: Really inconsiderate neighbours, and would stop me booking again which is a shame for the host.

Good value for money

Pros: Good location. Spacious rooms. Good amenities, fridge, washing machine, kitchen, TV, Sofa, linen and towels.
