Fab Place For a Trip to Edinburgh

Pros: The accommodation was lovely, the location was good and our host very communicative and accomodating. We were a family group of six so having three bedrooms, rather than one being a sofa bed, was really good for us. We also loved the area. Fab cafes and shops.

A wonderful stay in a cosy, well-equipped home with an exceptional host.

Pros: Beautiful and charming property in the heart of a lovely suburb. The kitchen was a great size and well equipped, including a coffee machine. There were plenty of sleeping options with three comfortable double bedrooms and a sofa bed. Bedding and towels were spotless. We really appreciated that the heating was on when we arrived — a thoughtful touch, especially in November when these homes can sometimes feel chilly, but this one was perfectly cosy. The location was excellent, with local shops and restaurants nearby — we tried both a Thai and a Mexican, which were fantastic. The host was very communicative and provided clear instructions about parking, the lockbox, and everything else. We were travelling with a baby and accidentally left behind his favourite toy; the host kindly offered to post it back to us — a truly selfless gesture that perfectly reflects the outstanding hospitality.

Cons: Not a dislike, but something to be mindful of — there’s a low wall in front of the parking spaces, which makes it a little tight for two larger cars. We managed with some careful manoeuvring, and there’s also good on-street parking nearby. The host was very helpful and provided alternative options too.

Perfect for our needs visiting Edinburgh for 2-3 days. Would definitely recommend it.

Cons: Access to the kitchen is through the second living room with the extra sofa bed. Slightly awkward if you’re using this room as a bedroom, but not a big deal.

Brilliant location to stay for a weekend in Edinburgh

Pros: We had a brilliant stay at Adam's place. The location was perfect for us, in the heart of Morningside. The house was well appointed, with beautiful bedrooms and living room. The kitchen and bathrooms were generously stocked with soap, shampoo, tea, coffee, Irn Bru, shortbread etc. Adam, our host was great, thoughtful and responsive.

Cons: The water pressure on the shower was low due to the pump breaking but having messaged Adam, someone came round within five minutes and fixed it. Adam could not have been more helpful.

Wonderful Stay for Family

Pros: Adam is very responsive and accommodative. The apartment is clean and tidy. A welcome basket full of Scottish delights is a very nice touch. The apartment is situated in Morningside where Waitrose, M&S is just within 5 minute walk. Many local cafes to choose from as well. Many bus routes to take us old town, new town and other parts of Edinburgh with ease although it's a walkable distance to the old town (about 30 minutes). I would recommend family or groups to stay in this apartment as a base if you want some peace and quiet space away from the downtown.

Pros: Our stay was wonderful! If you want to be super close to the city of Edinburgh in a very upscale neighborhood, this is the place for you. Beautiful and comfortable accommodations. Easy and fast to city center by car or bus. Lots of great shopping and restaurants in walking distance. Host was very attentive to every need and question! Highly recommend!
