Great Location and Great Property

Pros: Well presented and clean property, on the Main Street but could not hear a thing due to the double glazed windows. Great pubs within 1-2 min walk from two really great pubs. Property Manager Karen was very helpful with detailed instructions and any questions we had. Highly recommend

Beautiful and spacious!

Pros: 10/10 would recommend! Stunning property and so spacious! Right in the center of Edinburgh! The owner was beyond kind, definitely would stay again and recommended others to stay! Loved our time here.

Very nice apartment in an excellent location.

Pros: Really good communication from the host. Excellent location , particularly for The Usher Hall. Really nice apartment, and even though it was on a main road, the noise wasn't bad at all.

Cons: Only minor issue was the windows to the bedrooms: they appear to be original and, unlike the front windows don't have secondary glazing:Clearly nothing can be done about the December weather but the strong winds resulted in the windows banging and rattling for a number of hours during the night affecting sleep. I would say, however, that this was our only minor complaint and wouldn't stop us staying at The Shandwick Place again...

Pros: Beautiful apartment, excellent location and very helpful friendly host.

Cons: A few repairs needed. Sofa needs new leg (back left), kitchen cupboards delaminating a little. Bedroom window drafty.

Comfortable apartment, brilliantly located.

Pros: We were only in Edinburgh for a 48hr whistle stop tour. We found the apartment to be brilliantly located, tram right outside, walking distance to Edinburgh Castle and Royal Mile, easy to get to Royal Yacht Britannia. Lots of restaurants, shops, cafés. Quiet given we are on busy Princes Street.

Cons: It would have been nice to have had a welcome pack with a city map and personal local recommendations. And basics like tea and coffee, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel as they do in well-appointed Airbnb’s. There are quite a few stairs so not suitable for someone with mobility issues!

Great stay in Edinburgh!

Pros: Fantastic location in the heart of a vibrant city. Comfortable and well equipped Appartement in walking distance to the royal mile and the Edinburgh Castle.

Pros: Everything about this apartment was fantastic, the location was perfect for us as we were working 1 minute walk away, but after work it was so nice to be so central, no noise, bed was super comfy, the hosts were very helpful. Facilities were literally like home from home, I cant wait to stay again. Everything was very clean.

Cons: could be great to have a guest book with details as what is the wifi password & shower gel and shampoo

Great stay, great location

Pros: Beautiful apartment, very well equipped. It’s in an excellent location, just off the end of Princes Street with multitudes of bars, restaurants, and shops just a step away. Despite being central didn’t suffer any noise at all. Fantastic place, definitely would stay there again.

Cons: Only quibble was hard beds, but that’s a personal choice. I personally prefer a bit of memory foam and feather pillows. But for 2 nights only it’s not a deal breaker.

Fantastic location and size/space apartment

Pros: Space, size, quiet, great location, convenient for shops and food and drink.

Cons: Over bath shower was difficult to use properly as the wall holder couldn’t cope with shower head and water pressure. It had to be held when in use.
