Cosy, peaceful and comfortable apartment ideally situated close to the Centre of the town

Pros: Cosy, comfortable apartment with all that you need and parking available at the Front door. Ideal location to the main High Street for eateries. Good communication with the host.

A comfortable stop on our road trip from Edinburgh to London

Pros: Lovely and very private accommodation with everything we needed for our stay

Cons: The incredibly narrow access road into the property was a bit challenging, especially when trying to find it in the dark

Enjoyable overall and slept well

Pros: Location,peace and quiet, light coming into property, proximity to high st, instructions to get there, availability of a person

Cons: Overall cleanliness was good but perhaps a greater check of a few areas, not a big problem but I am mentioning it

Excellent and Robin was extremely helpful and pleasant host.

Cons: Nothing! If I was to comment on one improvement, a Smart TV would be good addition

Quiet, nice, could be perfect

Pros: Spotlessly clean, quiet, friendly welcome. This is an apartment above Robin's garage, which sounds unusual but is fine. Centrally located, close to nice restaurants, takeaways and supermarkets.

Cons: The double bed is low and uncomfortable, not a great nights sleep, the grouting and bath panel needs attention. However the biggest issue with our stay was payment terms. Booking.com listing should have it clear before you book that the host only accepts cash and bank transfer. We only found this out day of arrival. Our plan was to put travel and accommodation on our credit card and spending money by cash, however this nearly cleared out our spending money which put a sour taste at the end of our trip. A sumup machine is easy to get.

Pros: The house is right in the centre of the town, perfect location. It had everything you needed to cook. It was comfy. A real home away from home. We were up visiting friends, and everything you need is literally on the doorstep, including a beautiful park and endless beautiful cafes serving gorgeous cakes. The visitors book had such lovely previous comments that I could have taken up the whole book with positivity from myself and my family. Communications with Roboin were outstanding, always checking in on us, making sure we were all good, and the bed and sofa bed were comfy. I am genuinely glad I chose Robins Rest and will be going back in the future.

Cons: There is nothing I have to say that is negative.
