Lovely stay.

Pros: Beautiful property with a great history. Beds were super comfy. Massive rooms. Almost everything we needed was provided. Lovely quiet area. Park around the corner was fab with a cafe and right on the river Clyde. Only a 4min car journey to the train station which can take you to some great locations

Cons: Wifi was very spotty. Booking info should state that you are not getting the house in the pic unless you are a very large group. Most normal size bookings will be getting the section of the house next to this main part. Husband and eldest son were disappointed not to have access to the gym.

Characterful or operty in a peaceful location.

Pros: Beautiful house with character and super views of the Clyde. Easily accessible and nothing too much trouble for the owners. Kitchen was fully stocked and all the rooms were presented well. Plenty of car parking space for our group. Beautiful stained glass windows. Would highly recommend.

Eine Auszeit in einem ehemaligem Herrenhaus.

Pros: Während unseres 4.000 km langen road-Trips war das die originellste und beste Unterkunft in einem Haus, das schon viel Geschichte erlebt haben muss. Die Unterkunft ist inhabergeführt und wir wurden erstmals persönlich und mit viel Herzenswärme empfangen. Wir reisten abends an und haben niemals damit gerechnet, dass sogar der Kühlschrank mit dem wichtigsten (Eier, Toastbrot, Margarine, Käse, Milch, Wein, …) für uns gefüllt war. Vielen Dank dafür!!! ❣️

Cons: Die Buchung ist ein wenig irreführend. Man denkt, dass man das ganze Haus mit 8 Schlafzimmern und mehreren Bädern bucht. Statt dessen bucht man eine Wohneinheit in dem Haus. Das ist jedoch kein Problem, da genügend Platz ist. Und es ist so ruhig, so dass man nichts von den Nachbarn hört. Man muss sich halt nur mit einer Dusche arrangieren. Wir haben zu fünft in der Ferienwohnung geschlafen und haben es mit einem Duschplan geschafft. 🤗
