February break - Arran school house

Pros: Beautiful location, well appointed house. Log fire was amazing as was the lovely furnished living room. Really well appointed kitchen with every implement that you need. Beautiful bath to soak in after long days walking. Loved the Welcome gifts, really made us feel at home.

Cons: The weather - but we expected it and were well equipped for it. Made a lot better by the fire and beautiful blankets. Didn't get to use garden unfortunately due to rain but it looked lovely.

Pros: The size of the rooms and house was great, equipment and facilities were spot on. It was clean and comfortable. Really nice decor, good parking too. Comms with the owners were very efficient and polite.

We had a memorable stay in Arran, loved every minute

Pros: Great location close to the lovely blackwater foot village with it's amazing bakery. Beach is nice, great close by walk at kings caves and shiskine golf course is a gem. Very exciting to spot a golden eagle from the kitchen!

Fantastic accommodation in a beautiful location with ample parking and easy access

Pros: Clear instructions were sent in advance of stay as to how to access lock box for keys

Pros: Beautiful comfortable property, in a great location! Well kitted out kitchen and perfect for a group get together.

Perfect Spot on Arran.

Pros: Lovely house with large bedrooms and plenty of seating. The log fire was nice although did take sometime to get going, probably due to the cold or blockage in the flue if not used regularly. The location is great and everyone commented what a great listing and house, credit to the owners. Plenty of parking too. The host communication was great. She even took the effort to mail an item which had been left behind. If you are a larger party then I would highly recommend this stay, we will be checking back here next time we visit Arran.

Cons: Nothing really. It is a big house and the bones of the house took a while to heat up on arrival. Otherwise it was perfect.

Pros: Lots of space and very well equipped for 6 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs.

Lovely Spacious Cottage

Pros: Great house and location, lots of space, excellent furnishings and lots of extras that we didn't expect.

Cons: Nothing apart from leaving to go home.

Pros: the host was very accommodating as our ferry was cancelled and she allowed us to rebook for next year

Cons: the access to the Isle was not very reliable via Ferry

Excellent family stay in beautiful house

Pros: Lovely bedding, beautifully decorated, very well equipped and great location

Cons: Wi-Fi dropped occasionally
