Beachside House Rathlin Island

Pros: We met the owners of the house and they could not be anymore helpful than they were. The property was in a great location close to everything and views to die for. The house was very comfortable and the heating system was able to keep it cosy in a cool February morning. The fridge freezer was a good size and we made good use of it. The only problem we had was that our time went to quickly but most enjoyable.

Cons: Rathlin is a very beautiful island in every way but I could not believe the slow pollution of the island by so many scrap and derilck cars that are slowly choking the place. I've never seen so much scrap being allowed to take the look of a marvellous location. I understand that removing scrap cars from the island is free on the ferry so find it hard to understand why it is being allowed to happen.

Pros: This is our second time staying in this beautiful house. The hosts were lovely, very attentive and we were delighted to get a late check out. The house is so cosy and in the perfect location. Would highly recommend it. Cant wait to go back to this magical island

A beautiful island to chill- accommodation made it all the better

Pros: A stones throw from the beach and pub. Hillary and Alan super friendly and even brought our bags down to the ferry for us. House amazing - great facilities - comfortable beds - outdoor space - spotless We didn’t want to leave

Pros: Hillary is possibly the nicest woman I've ever spoken to! She rang me and provided excellent recommendations for our trip, providing above and beyond help. The house is in the perfect location right on the beach front, less than a minutes walk to the pub and 3-4 mins to the bus stop and shops/ tourist attraction. The house was beautiful! So lovingly decorated and tonnes of space. We were even able to leave our bags and Alan so kindly brought them to us before the ferry. I truly cannot wait to come back and stay again! Thank you both so much!
