Late Summer Lovely Time

Pros: Location, facilities, views, hairy coows, cleanliness, booking, all information given on line, goodies left for us. Thanks for everything.

Cons: Would liked more water pressure in the shower. Would like the road up to be tarmacked. Couldn't ride our bikes down, had to keep putting them back in the van. Inconvenient.

Pros: The setting is absolutely stunning. Fantastic views of Islay and Gigha and magnificent sunsets on clear nights. The cottage was spacious, modern, clean and well equipped.

Erholsame Tage in Abgeschiedenheit

Pros: Eine traumhafte Lage mit Blick aufs Meer und gegenüberliegende Inseln, sehr ruhig, da es die einzige Wohnanlage auf dem Hügel ist.

Cons: Anfahrtsbeschreibung wäre hilfreich gewesen mit Koordinaten

Wohnung zum Wohlfühlen an sensationeller erhöhter Aussichtslage.

Pros: Da wir abends die Wohnung nicht gefunden hatten (der genauen Weg-Beschreibung fehlten Distanzangaben, welche wir deshalb anscheinend etwas missverstanden haben), begleitete uns die Vermieterin zur Wohnung. Das war sehr nett. Ein grosszügiges Willkommensgeschenk erwartete uns. Die erhöhte Lage mit Blick aufs Meer ist wunderschön. Das Appartement ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und sauber. Wir waren fast für uns alleine (es hat mehrere Wohnungen) und fühlten uns sehr wohl. Die Vermieter haben uns gute Tipps fürs Einkaufen und Ausflug gegeben. Rundherum weihten Schafe und an einem Tag auch Hochlandrinder. Wie idyllisch. Sehr ruhige Lage.

Cons: Die Heiz-Pumpe war in den Schlafzimmern ein bisschen hörbar. Ich bin jedoch sehr geräuschempfindlich. Meinen Mann hat es nicht gestört. Die Vermieter haben sich sehr bemüht, der Ursache auf den Grund zu gehen.
