Exceptional winter stay — warm, cosy and incredibly comfortable

Pros: This cottage was absolutely perfect for a winter break. From the moment we arrived it was beautifully warm and welcoming, with excellent heating that kept the whole cottage cosy throughout our stay. The property is tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and wonderfully comfortable while still being spacious. The shower was fantastic, with the option of a bath too! The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring the best night’s sleep, and the cottage was extremely well equipped with everything needed for a relaxing and stress-free stay, even in the colder months. The location is excellent and ideal for exploring the area. We would return without hesitation and highly recommend it.

A great cottage for a very relaxing break

Pros: A great cottage for a very relaxing break. As described. Huge TV.

Cons: Not a complaint as the facilities were correctly described, but as we are both elderly and have reduced mobility there were issues in getting into and around the cottage.

Pros: The outdoor space and view across the fields was so tranquil. The lounge was very comfortable and having Netflix an added bonus Parking at the front of the property was handy. The cottage is a perfect base for getting into Edinburgh., We were up for a concert and parked at polmont station a 5 mins drive away for free and then caught the train into Edinburgh. We had a delicious meal at the Bridge Inn in Linlithgow at the recommendation of our hosts. Thanks for a lovely stay, we would love to come back in future

Pros: Quiet location close to many attractions, clean, comfortable and well equipped.

Cons: Although the bathroom was very nice the location next to the kitchen was not ideal as you could hear everything when the someone was in there. I understand with the layout it can’t be helped but a heavier door or something may help.

Very nice, calm and cozy!

Pros: Very nice and cozy cottage near Edinburgh, in a calm location. The backyard Is really lovely! Well equipped, clean and comfortable.

Beautiful accommodation in a gorgeous quiet area.

Pros: The location was beautiful and quiet. The accommodation was really lovely. We had lovely weather, so we spent a lot of time in the fantastically well-kept garden.

Cons: The bathroom was off the kitchen and a fair way from the bedrooms for my elderly parents at night time.
