Unique Orchard Lodge for couples with hot tub

Beautifully peaceful

Pros: Everything was just perfect. We wanted a quiet, relaxing break and we got exactly that. The lodge had everything we needed and more. The bed was very comfortable, the views were beautiful and the hot tub was amazing

A magical stay in a wonderful location.

Pros: Superb location overlooking a ravine filled with wooland lawns and a walled garden with a river at the bottom. Very peaceful and private. The wonderful hosts were available and attentive if needed, but never intrusive. A beautiful lodge with the sounds of nature as a companion. Definitely recommend for a relaxing few days away.

Cons: A minor thing but less glassware for the hot tub to make more space on the shelves for the food we brought.

A peaceful escape in nature with thoughtful touches, stunning views.

Pros: We stayed at Orchard Lodge to celebrate a 30th birthday and couldn’t have found a more perfect spot. Tucked away in nature, it offered the quiet escape from the city we were looking for. The views of the gardens were beautiful, the sunrise was stunning, and the night sky full of stars was magical. Jacqui, the host, didn’t miss a thing, there were so many thoughtful touches throughout, and the cooking facilities were excellent. The attention to detail really made the stay special. The hot tub was spotless, and the fairy lights added the perfect finishing touch. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We’ll definitely be back!

Pros: We loved the whole setting the views are fantastic so peaceful and quiet lodge is fully equipped and cosy ..the hot tub is great where it sits under the trees

Absolute bliss

Pros: We just had the most relaxing few days away, and it couldn’t have been better. The lodge was absolutely beautiful, with views that honestly made us stop and just take it all in. You can tell Jacqui has put so much thought into every little detail, everything was so well set up and made the whole experience feel special. We’re already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend!

Perfect little hideaway

Pros: Was perfect place to relax and chill out. In a beautiful location. The host was lovely, and really helpful.

Would highly recommend this to anyone. The host was amazing and friendly and so welcoming.

Pros: The location was beautiful, and sitting on the decking watching the deer and foxes playing on the lower lawn was outstanding.

The perfect getaway

Pros: The setting is stunning, secluded, quiet and private. The host, Jacqui, is lovely, so welcoming and friendly. The lodge has EVERYTHING you'll need, including binoculars and telescopes for wildlife watching and star gazing. There's a fly screen surrounding the hot tub and a canvas roof to keep flies and tree bits out! You're provided with robes and slippers and there's a clothes horse to dry your swimmies on. The shower pressure isn't too strong and is lovely and hot. The bed is comfy as is the sofa. We ate at Carrigan's in East Kilbride (20 minutes away) https://johncarrigans.co.uk/ There's a Sainsbury's and lots of lovely shops in Strathaven and a nice 3.6 mile waterfall walk.

Cons: The fire exit sign's green light is very bright at night, but is obviously a necessity (to be fair, eye masks are provided). The bathroom window could do with a blind or curtain as I felt quite exposed of an evening with the light on! 👀 That's it, 2 little niggles. Nothing else to put on here.
