Central West End City Apartment

A lovely Glasgow flat!

Pros: The entire flat was so clean and comfortable. Parking being available on site was perfect for us as travelling with my 7 month old. Access information was really clear and easy to follow, and the host Clare was so helpful. We had a lovely stay and it was in a perfect location for our visit!

Clean, comfortable, spacious apartment in a great location.

Pros: The hosts answered queries very quickly. The location is excellent as it is very easy to access all the restaurants and bars in the west end, as well as the university and other attractions like the Kelvingrove Art Gallery. It is also across from the metro station so very easy to access other areas of Glasgow. The apartment is spacious and clean. We didn't cook but it was very well equipped for anyone who wished to do so. A real bonus is the car parking space.

Cons: There's nothing the hosts can do about this but the corridors and outside smelled strongly of weed.

Excellent apartment

Pros: The apartment was in a great location, shops nearby for groceries, subway stop just outside making traveling around the city so easy. It was well equipped in the kitchen even down to salt, pepper and spices. plenty of hangers to put clothes in the wardrobe, hairdryer and Straighteners were provided which were a bonus! There was also board games you could use, and we made great use of the umbrella provided too! The bed was very spacious and comfortable with plenty of pillows. The entire apartment was very clean and just had everything you could need for a getaway. Will definitely be back!

Pros: Clare kept us informed about the property every step of the way. There is plenty parking. It is a bright, spacious comfortable and tastefully decorated flat. The double bed was possibly the biggest I've ever slept in and comfortable. The gas heating is easy to control and responsive. The kitchen had more equipment than we needed for a weekend stay. The soaps provided were lovely and there were plenty towels. The subway which we used is right outside the front door.

Cons: There was a fair bit of road noise as the location is a bit of a route centre. The sofa bed was not comfortable, it might be better to put the mattress on the floor. It is possible that it wasn't fool proof though and the odd shape was operator error.

Pleasant; convenient location.

Pros: Pleasant flat; nice king-size bed. Responsive enough via WhatsApp. Directly opposite the subway station St George’s Cross. I didn't go, but there are food shops quite close by.

Cons: The exterior areas including lift and corridor are run down, with grubby carpet, while the apartment is fresh. The bath tub (with shower) is very high and one has to climb in for the shower.

Great, would stay again.

Pros: Great location, clean, warm and comfortable. The bed ins enormous, I want one! Friendly host.

Cons: Couldn’t get my phone charger plugged in at one side of the bed.

Pros: Very clean, comfortable, all facilities you would need. Great attention to detail and communication from the owners

Convenient spacious accommodation perfectly situsted for getting around the city.

Pros: We found the apartment was very comfortable and equipped. We especially wanted a parking place for our car during our stay in Glasgow and that was provided in the parking which came with the apartment. Another huge plus was the subway right outside the front door.

Cons: We found the over full rubbish bins by the back door rather off putting but that it hopefully something that can be resolved.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay.

Pros: Directions to car parking and where to pick up key were excellent. Apartment was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you for treats and having a non slip mat for the shower.

Cons: The car parking had been arranged prior to our arrival, but unfortunately another car was parked in our allocated spot on arrival. Contacted host who was very quick to respond which we appreciated to help sort out the parking. Which was resolved. Just parked in another spot. When entering the apartment building found it to be a little tired and unkept.But our apartment was lovely.

Bright and spacious apartment.

Pros: Excellent communication from Clare prior to the stay and this continued with clear and detailed information in the apartment about household instructions and guidance. The apartment is spacious, very clean, fresh and comfortable. No clutter whilst having a homely and welcoming feel to it. We had everything we needed eg suoer king size bed, spacious bathroom with shower, comfortable couches and dining area, roomy kitchen with everything wee needed Inc lovely coffee in espresso machine (there's also another coffee maker), Tunnocks goodies and I really appreciated the decaffeinated teabags when we got in late at night. Easy parking and access instructions with safe box. The subwa6is literally out the front door and we made good use of that to go to concerts in town both nights. Would definitely stay here again.
