JOIVY Modern 1 bed flat next to Haymarket Station

Brilliant weekend away in Edinburgh staying in a lovely apartment

Pros: Clean, modern, very spacious, well equipped and superb location

A mixed bag, but it did become our home while we were there.

Pros: Very good location for access to public transport. Very spacious rooms and well appointed kitchen.

Cons: There was litter & rubbish piled high in bins in the entrance foyer on our arrival, and the litter grew more & more during our stay. Through the foyer and into the carpeted hall there were large blue bags containing soiled laundry, piled on top of each other, bottles of cleaning materials, various odds & ends, a vacuum cleaner, and an open door to a storage cupboard than was never closed. The carpet was soiled & stained. There was no sign of a cleaner on the premises during our stay. We wanted fresh towels after several days bur had no luck in accessing this service. Pros: Location was great. Close to the city center and easy way to the airport.

Cons: I would provide more street photos of the location. There was rather difficult to find correct house and door.

A large and comfortable apartment close to everything

Pros: This place ended up a lot better than I expected. The rooms are really big, with tall ceilings and huge windows. Even though it is located at a big intersection, there was no noise inside, and it was fun to watch the people outside. It has all the amenities (not one, but two teapots! Glencairn scotch glasses!) for a comfortable stay. Early on the sink in the bathroom was plugged and we contacted the property management that responded immediately and sent a person to fix it at a time that worked with our schedule. Overall, highly recommend!

Cons: It would have been great to have some olive oil and vinegar as part of the pantry. We bought some olive oil and left it there, so hopefully it'll be around for the next person. There are grocery stores nearby, so not an issue (and if looking for olive oil, a mediterranean market down the street is the best place for it).

Alles in allem war es ein schöner Aufenthalt in dem Appartement.

Pros: Die Lage war super. Bei Ankunft war das bestellte Essen im Kühlschrank. Liebevoll standen kleine Snacks zur Verfügung. Meinen Sonderwunsch nach einer zusätzlichen Bettdecke und Bettwäsche wurde problemlos gelöst.

Cons: Obwohl alles andere perfekt sauber war, war die Toilette bei Ankunft nicht ganz sauber - kann passieren. Das Wasser im Waschbecken im Badezimmer lief nicht richtig ab. Schön wäre es gewesen, wären ein wenig mehr Putzmittel vor Ort gewesen. Z.B. Abwaschlappen, Glasreiniger, Reiniger für Toilette und Waschbecken. (Es gab nur 3 Geschirrspültabs, Geschirrspülmittel und 1 Geschirrhandtuch)
