Luxurious, charming apartment in lively, central location

Pros: Ideally placed in heart of city close to castle, cafes and restaurants. ‘Just like home’ facilities with everything you need. Lovely touch of welcome pack much appreciated. Great communication from hosts prior to stay.

Cons: Noisy due to central location. Also quite dusty in places around property.

Best location in the heart of Edinburgh

Pros: The instructions received online from Altido Scotland was all spot on. They also recommended a taxi service from the airport that was very reliable and much appreciated. The location of the property is excellent in the heart of the tourist area. The apartment is charming and very comfortable. The bed is particularly comfortable and charming. The apartment looks exactly as it is in the photos. Great restaurants in the area and all very safe. Can walk everywhere.

Cons: We had to register our identities on the Altido system but this was problematic. Our passports and drivers licences kept being rejected to this cause some confusion. The apartment was located on the third floor and there is no lift. This was not clear in the advert and could be a problem for older guests. The staircase leading up to the part looks like a fire escape and initially we were confused whether we were at the right place. However, when you step into the apartments, it is superb.

Adorable, comfortable, roomy with excellent location in the heart of Greenmarket

Pros: Location excellent. Property very cute and comfortable. Well stocked and supplied.

Cons: Stairs, stairs, stairs—lugging luggage up 3-4 flights of concrete stairs was very difficult. Washer/dryer was difficult to use with out-of-date instructions; length of cycle was very long (6-8 hours for a full wash/dry).

We really enjoyed staying at this apartment. We love the location, the historic charm of the place and we’re very happy

Pros: We loved the historic look of the place and the location was perfect for everything you want to do in old Edinburgh. The Bed was beautiful to look at and extremely comfortable. It was also very nice to have a fully equipped kitchen. We made a few meals .

Cons: Nothing , there is a few flights of stairs to walk up though., but we did not find that to be a problem.

Pros: Logement central pour les touristes, joliment décoré, très confortable notamment la literie. Acoustique soignée dans la chambre. Thé et café, petits gâteaux à l'arrivée.

Cons: Vraiment trop cher pour la prestation. Simple vitrage dans le salon qui donne sur une place animée

Tolle Erfahrung!

Pros: Die Unterkunft war super ausgestattet, sauber, toll gelegen und man hatte einen schönen schottischen Flair dank der liebevollen Einrichtung.

Cons: Es war etwas staubig und für gewisse Personengruppen wäre es von Vorteil gewesen, zu erwähnen, dass die Unterkunft im 3. OG liegt und nur mit Treppenstufen zu erreichen ist.
