A nicely decorated apartment in a great location
Pros: The location is really perfect, only a short walk to the Royal Mile and the Castle. The flat is on a main street, on the first floor, and from the lounge one does hear a bit of street noise, but it is not so bad. However, the bedroom is at the back and is lovely and quiet for sleeping. The flat is tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The lounge is cosy and the bed very comfortable. It was nice and warm, and one could control the heating as desired plus there was plenty of hot water and a good shower cabin. The communication with the hosts was very quick, responsive and friendly. All in all, a great place for exploring the city.
Cons: One negative thing is main entrance door to the building; it was hard to open and close and rather noisy β could hear it from inside the flat. It could do with some attention.

Just as advertised... maybe better.
Pros: Beautifully and thoughtfully designed. Very comfortable bed with everything I needed. Communication with the host was fantastic.
Cons: Only the condition of the entrance, which is beyond the control of the host.

Beautiful apartment to stay in central Edinburgh
Pros: The location was great. Few steps away and you can see the Castle above the hills. Really central area with supermarket across the road, shops, cafe and restaurants around. The bedroom was spacious with a comfy bed, great quality pillows and fluffy duvet inner. Well decorated in the apartment. Kitchen is well equipped with basic cooking essentials, small fridge, coffee machine with coffee pods, toaster and oven. Washing machine is also in kitchen area. Shower pressure is good. Netflix and Disney Plus on TV which is a big plus for us. Amy is great with her communications and very helpful.
Cons: The parking in NCP costs quite a bit. There were two sites right next to the apartment and one is slightly cheaper (Β£14 for a day) than the other (Β£16) There are few stairs to access the apartment.

Absolutely perfect
Pros: Everything was fab! Stunning flat in a perfect location, close enough to the centre but far enough out so it wasn't noisy, everything thought of and definitely achieved the look it was going for. Insanely comfy bed, good parking nearby and great communication from the owner. Saved for our next trip!
Cons: Couldn't fault a thing. The front door needs a bit of a jiggle with the key but it's an old building, no fault of the owners and once conquered didn't cause any issues.

Pros: This flat has everything you need. Coffee, tea in the kitchen and toiletries in the bathroom. This is not an empty place like most accommodations. This is a really good choice for a city break or a longer stay. Very good localisation in the centre but quiet bedroom.

Perfect location in a comfortable, characterful flat in Edinburgh.
Pros: Perfect location for everything we were wanting to do. Lots nearby and probably the easiest for accessing both old and new town on foot. Lots of restaurants/pubs nearby. The owners were responsive but not invasive. We did not meet them, which is more than fine with me. Good instructions. The flat itself is comfortable, warm enough, and has all the mod cons. What was particularly nice was the well stocked coffee supply and the cooking things you donβt want to buy but always need.
Cons: The advert suggested parking was available and free, at least thatβs how I interpreted it. Itβs not, but it is convenient in a monitored car park very near by. Β£18 a day. I managed to lose the parking ticket and the chaps were super helpful (and it ended up costing less!).
